In October 2024, LCAD supported a vegetable demonstration plot in Paraksika, Manloor Payam, Tonj North County, under an FAO-funded project.

One of the successful projects implemented by LCAD, funded by UNMISS under the QIP project at Kuajok State Hospital in May 2015, involved installing a water system connection. This system was extended to various departments including the In-patient and Out-patient departments, the maternity site, the theatre room and the laboratory.
LCAD staff conducted community mobilization and sensitization activities in Palal Payam, Tonj East County, as part of an FAO-funded project. This was done prior to the identification and biometric registration of beneficiaries (July 2024).
Standing in the picture is Mrs. Achol Luol Ajiing, aged 36, who is next to the LCAD Executive Director. She is a female vegetable grower from Akier Boma in Palal Payam, Tonj East County. Before the LCAD intervention, a project funded by FAO, Achol struggled to succeed in farming due to a lack of knowledge and technical support. In June 2023, she enrolled in the 2023 Main Season Response, received livelihood inputs, and underwent extensive training by the LCAD.
